Apollo 83701042 Spiral Cable for Paver Digital Controller
The Apollo 83701042 spiral cable is the coiled control cable that connects the digital controller to the paver control system. One end carries a 12-hole bayonet connector, the other a 10-hole screw connector, and the coil extends to 1.5 metres so the operator can move along the screed without unplugging. It is supplied as a good quality OEM part replacement for the original cable.

Typical Faults This Cable Fixes
A worn controller cable does not usually fail completely. It shows up first as intermittent screed or travel commands, a controller that drops signal when the operator walks to the end of the walkway, or a bayonet connector that pops loose after a day of paving. Replacing the spiral cable restores a stable connection and removes one variable from the fault-finding list.
Fitting Notes
  • Switch off the paver and disconnect the battery before replacing the cable
  • Check the controller socket for bent pins before fitting the 12-hole bayonet end
  • Route the coil away from hot exhaust parts and the screed burner zone
