A replacement digital longitudinal slope meter for the SP15 slipform paver leveling system is now available under part number 2629400. The unit measures the machine's longitudinal gradient in real time and reports it to the paver controller, which adjusts elevation automatically so the finished surface follows the design profile.
On slipform work, grade errors are expensive to correct after the concrete has set. A slope meter that drifts by a fraction of a degree over a day's pour produces a surface that fails the survey check, and remediation means cutting or overlaying hardened pavement. Replacing a tired sensor is by far the cheaper decision, but only if the correct part is on the shelf when the fault appears.

When a slipform paver starts laying off grade, the sensor is not always the culprit. The usual sequence is worth following: confirm the target gradient in the controller is unchanged, check that the sensor is still mechanically tight on its bracket, then inspect the 6-pin plug for water ingress or a partially seated pin. A connector that has taken water produces exactly the symptoms of a failed sensor; jumping readings, intermittent corrections and a surface that wanders.
If the readings remain unstable after the connector and cable routing are checked, replacing the meter is the practical next step. Because the replacement uses the original connector and mounting points, the machine can be calibrated and returned to the pour the same day.
Isolate machine power, release the sensor from its bracket and disconnect the plug. Fit the new unit in the same orientation, tighten the fasteners evenly to avoid twisting the housing and reconnect the connector until it locks. Power up, run the leveling system's slope calibration routine on a known reference surface and confirm the displayed gradient tracks the reference without oscillation before production resumes.
Each meter ships in a foam-lined box with an anti-static bag, in an export carton or on a pallet for bulk orders. Delivery is 7 to 15 working days after payment. Payment terms include T/T and L/C.
Contractors and service workshops can request pricing and freight cost by sending machine model, quantity and destination port. Quotations are confirmed within the same working day, and calibration guidance is available on request.
