We have added the APOLLO TYP11 leveling sensor 14317390 to our stock range of asphalt paver electrical parts. The sensor is a 100% new unit with a 6-pin electrical connector and a screw thread barrel housing, and it is built as a direct replacement part for the automatic screed control system used on ABG asphalt pavers and similar road finishers. The first units are available now with a minimum order quantity of one piece.
On any asphalt paver the screed is the last component to touch the mix, so the grade and thickness of the finished mat depend on how accurately the screed is held in position. The leveling sensor is the measuring element of that control loop. It reads the vertical distance between the screed and its reference — a stringline, a averaging ski, or the previously laid mat — and sends a continuous signal to the paver controller. The controller then corrects the hydraulic tow points in real time, keeping the mat thickness, longitudinal grade and cross-slope within the tolerance written into the job specification.
When a sensor drifts, becomes noisy, or fails outright, the symptoms are easy to recognise on site: an uneven mat, a step where paving stopped and restarted, visible seams, extra material consumption, and far more work for the operator who has to correct by hand. Replacing the failed unit with a matched part restores the control loop without re-pinning the harness or adapting the mounting.

The sensor is used by three groups. Paving contractors buy single units to get a machine back into production after a failure. Paver service fleets and rental companies keep one or two in stock because a failed sensor stops the whole paving train. Equipment traders and parts distributors order in small batches to serve local contractors who cannot wait for a long lead time from the original channel.
Stock is available for immediate shipment, with bulk orders for service fleets and distributors quoted on request. Consolidated packing is offered for multi-part orders that combine the leveling sensor with other paver electrical and mechanical spares. Contact our sales team with your paver model and the quantity you need, and we will confirm price, packing and the fastest available shipping option.
