A replacement overlay film set for the triple-screen depth controller console of W2000 and W2100 road milling machines is now available, covering reference codes 101227 for the console film and 2082170 for the milling sensor stickers, together with the related references 2154440 and 2478077 used to identify panel sizes.
The item addresses a failure mode that is easy to overlook during machine maintenance. A scratched or chemically stained console still works electrically, so it rarely generates a fault code, yet the depth readouts and function legends become progressively harder to read. Operators then set depth from memory or by feel, and the result is a milled surface that drifts from the survey profile.

The 101227 console film is die-cut to the three-screen layout, with cut-outs for keys, indicator lights and data ports so no control is obstructed. The 2082170 sensor stickers restore labelling on the sensor points at the same time, which matters when a technician is tracing a depth control fault on a machine whose stickers have worn away.
The film is made from a UV-stabilised polymer that resists yellowing under workshop lighting and on outdoor sites. Its matte top surface cuts reflection from work lights, and the controlled-adhesion backing allows the film to be lifted and re-laid during fitment, so alignment mistakes do not waste a sheet.
Clean the console with a mild detergent solution and let it dry fully – dust trapped under the film becomes a permanent bubble. Peel the backing from one edge, align the cut-outs with the screens and keys, and lay the film progressively while smoothing with the supplied squeegee. Work the edges down firmly at the end so coolant and abrasive dust cannot creep underneath.
Sensor stickers go onto a clean, dry surface and should be pressed for a few seconds, avoiding contact between fingers and the adhesive side. No wiring, console removal or reprogramming is involved, so the machine can return to work the same shift.
Films ship flat in a rigid carton with a protective sleeve to prevent creasing, together with the squeegee and fitting instructions. Minimum order quantity is one set; delivery is 3 to 10 working days after payment, and larger orders are scheduled on confirmation. Payment terms include T/T and L/C.
Contractors, service workshops and parts distributors can request pricing and freight cost by sending machine model, quantity and destination port. Quotations are confirmed within the same working day, and fitting guidance is available on request.
