A protective overlay for the Apollo triple-screen controller is now available under part numbers 101227, 2082170, 2154440 and 2478077. The film is die-cut for the W2000 and W2100 milling machines and is built to survive the two things that ruin control panels fastest in a working shop: coolant mist and abrasive dust.
Control overlays rarely fail because of age alone. They fail because coolant settles on the surface every shift, chips are thrown off the drum, and the panel gets wiped down dozens of times a week. The printed legends wear thin at the most-used keys, the clear plastic hazes, and operators start reading the panel by memory instead of by label. Replacing the whole controller for a worn overlay is an expensive fix for a surface problem.
This release takes the wear instead of the OEM panel underneath. The film is a thin, UV-stabilised layer with a matte anti-glare finish, a coolant and oil tolerant surface, and an adhesive that releases in one piece when the overlay is due for replacement.

Preparation decides the result. Cool the machine, wipe the panel with a lint-free cloth and a mild cleaner, and let it dry completely — trapped moisture is what creates bubbles. Peel a short strip of backing, align the three screen apertures first, then let the key windows fall into place. Work from the centre outward with a soft squeegee, seat the outline with a finger, and check that every legend and display reads clearly before the machine goes back into production.
Single overlays and workshop stock are both supplied. Each film ships in a carton with a rigid sleeve so the die-cut edge arrives flat, with dispatch 3–10 days after payment and payment by T/T or L/C. Buyers are asked to send the machine model and the number on the existing overlay so the correct film can be confirmed before shipment.
