A replacement main control console and steering control panel for the S1800-3 and S1900-3 asphalt pavers is now available under part number 2187484. The console is supplied as a complete assembly with housing, switches, wiring harness and connector, so a failed operator station can be swapped in a single shift instead of being rebuilt on the machine.
Steering panels deteriorate slowly and then fail suddenly. The first symptoms are usually small: a switch that needs a second push, a direction command that responds half a second late, a panel face that has cracked around the mounting screws. By the time the machine cannot hold the line, the paving train has already lost a pass, and the cost of that stop is many times the price of the console itself.

Isolate machine power and disconnect the battery before starting. Remove the fasteners around the console, tilt the unit forward and release the harness connector. Seat the new console on the same mounting points, reconnect the plug until the lock engages and refit the fasteners.
Restore power and test steering response in both directions at low travel speed before moving to the paving position, then check every switch on the panel. If a function stays inactive, verify connector seating and the relevant fuse first: a partially engaged plug is the most common reason a new panel appears dead.
Contractors running several S1800-3 or S1900-3 machines typically hold one console in stock as a critical spare. Because the same part covers both models, a single unit serves the whole fleet, and the failed console can be returned to a workshop for inspection without stopping the paving schedule.
Refurbishment projects benefit as well: replacing a UV-degraded or cracked console before resale or seasonal deployment restores the operator station to working condition and removes a common source of complaints from the next owner.
Consoles ship in a foam-lined carton with an anti-static bag and corner protection to prevent panel damage in transit. Delivery is 3 to 10 working days after payment, with larger quantities scheduled on confirmation. Payment terms include T/T and L/C.
Contractors, rental fleets and service workshops can request pricing and freight cost by sending machine model, quantity and destination port. Quotations are confirmed within the same working day, and fitting guidance is available on request.
