The Apollo 2187484 main control console is now available as a direct fit replacement for the operator station on S1800-3 and S1900-3 asphalt pavers. The console carries the steering control, function keys and indicator lamps that an operator works with through every shift, and it is the component most exposed to daily wear.
Hydraulic faults get attention, but the console is where an operator first notices a problem. Keys that need a second press, a steering input that feels vague, lamps that flicker when the panel is touched — these are the symptoms crews live with until they become a production issue. In most cases the cause is mechanical wear inside the panel rather than a fault in the steering system downstream.
Keypad membranes soften with use, rotary knobs lose their detents, and the housing absorbs years of vibration, sunlight and wash-down water. A replacement console returns the control feel that operators rely on to hold a straight pass, without touching the hydraulics.

When several of these appear together, check the harness connector first and the console second. A loose connector mimics a failing panel closely enough to be worth ruling out before ordering.
Paver builds vary across production years, so three details settle the question quickly: the machine model, the serial number, and a photo of the connector sockets on the back of the existing console. The connector layout identifies the console variant faster than any parts list, and confirmation is given in writing before shipment.
Park on level ground, lower the screed, stop the engine and isolate the battery. Disconnect the harness plugs, photograph the routing, support the console and remove the bolts evenly. Seat the replacement, torque in a cross pattern, reconnect the harness, then test steering, travel and screed functions one at a time before returning to work. Log the swap date and machine hours for the next service interval.
Units are supplied from stock, packed in a carton with protective foam, dispatched 3–10 days after payment and payable by T/T or L/C. For contractors refreshing an operator station, the console can be quoted together with the wear parts for the same machine.
